For years my Mother (in her infinite wisdom) has been quoting the same thing to me;  "Sebastian.  Do what you dream."  What she means by this is that it's time to make Art.  Art with a capital 'A'.  It's never been a hobby, and now it's time to see what I can do with it.

Stepping off of the ledge now, but at least it's mine!

I have really taken a leap of faith.  As of Valentine's Day I did what I knew was unsafe and may be seen as foolish by more practical folks.  After much tyranny and mistreatment I broke up with my job..  After 7 years it may have been the longest relationship I have ever had.

You see, I have been in love with art for a very long time.  There were occasional trysts, letters never sent and even a few public displays.  Maybe I've become wiser or maybe I'm just too old to let any more time pass without following that dream.  I have much to do!

And don't forget......

“You must live your story.”
― Michael Ende, The Neverending Story
